We stayed for three nights, and while we went hiking on our second day, we really could have stayed at the cabin all week and not really needed to do much. The kitchen is surprisingly well stocked and functional. We brought a cooler of groceries and were able to grill meals every night and have left overs with waffles every morning. I realized immediately we overpacked because there is a grocery store right down the street! I thought we would be roughing it a bit more which was great because there were so many conveniences in the cabin that we wee pleasantly surprised with. It’s the perfect mix of natural and modern, my husband got to act like a woodsman, chopping firewood building fires and grilling, and I got to relax and enjoy the spoils of said grilling before a soak in the hot tub. If you want to get away for some peace and quiet without roughing it (I believe the word is “glamping”) then this is the place to do it! This was our first Airbnb reservation and I think we were really spoiled for future trips to come. We can’t wait to check out their new cabins in the future and wish them the most success.

It’s hard to imagine a more enchanting, relaxing place to spend a night than Andrew and Marilou’s tree cabin. It was the perfect mix of rustic and convenient—a cozy, well-stocked and very well maintained cabin that still felt secluded and simple. Sitting in the hot tub at night wi the stars above, and having coffee on the deck with the changing leaves the following morning were both especially enjoyable. Spending a night at the tree cabin was the perfect way to end a weekend of hiking in the White Mountains. Andrew and Marilou were gracious and welcoming hosts—they came up to greet us and give us the lay of the land upon our arrival. It was nice chatting with them about the back story of the tree cabin and their plans for a new group of tree cabins in northern Vermont. We wouldn’t change a thing, and we hope to stay both at the tree cabin again and at Andrew and Marilou’s new cabins in the future.

We were warmly welcomed by the host, who helped us carry our luggage up the 51 steps to the cabin (literally not for the faint of heart), explained everything and gave us sightseeing tips. The cabin is beautifully situated, snug and comfortable and well equipped with everything we could need — including TV with Roku and Netflix. It was neat, clean, modern and quiet. We slept well, didn’t need the available heater and were able to fix our own meals with the refrigerator and microwave. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked great and the deck is attractive. We highly recommend it for a different sort of accommodation in a beautiful setting.

Andrew met us upon arrival and showed us up to the quaint tree cabin. The cabin is lovely and the hot tub amazing. We had everything we needed and more.

We absolutely LOVED staying here! The cabin is comfortable, cozy, well built, well thought out, and felt luxurious in such a wild setting. And the porch is just amazing! We soaked in the wooden hot-tub our first night and listened to an owl. Andrew and Marilou were warm, welcoming, and helpful. We suggest going for a walk/hike and then enjoying the late afternoon light on the porch. This cozy cabin was maybe the biggest highlight of our entire vacation!

What a gem! We truly felt “away from it all,” tucked back in the woods. The house is incredibly well constructed and immaculately clean. We used the hot tub three times during our weekend visit — what a treat!

Andrew and Marilou, were incredible hosts. After first pulling in they showed us the beautiful cabin cabin as well as gave us the run down on where to go to get groceries and places in town. We loved the cabin and highly recommend it to anybody who wants a nice quiet vacation to relax.

Andrew was very helpful, and kindly waited for us, since we made a few stops in our way there. He even offered to help us with the bags, since the road up is a little steep, but we managed well. The place was absolutely spotless!!. We were amazed about the attention to detail in the cabin construction, and how everything was readily available. Just wish we could have stayed longer, but the time we decided to reserve, someone had booked Sat and Sun. Romantic and comfortable, this place is a gem, as well as the waffle mix and recipe… award winning!!
