We had such a wonderful stay! Andrew was so welcoming and flexible with check in (which was very much appreciated) I would love to come again sometime and bring my husband!

 

Andrew and Marilou were very nice and welcoming. They made our trip to Vermont a lot easier by giving us a cozy little cabin to stay in. We didn’t have a lot planned for the week, mostly just relaxing, and they allowed us to do that and left us alone. We did plan to go fishing and Andrew offered to take us out on his fishing boat. We did not take him up on that offer, but after seeing how terrible we were at fishing when we got to the lake, we should have! The cabin was very clean, and had everything. We did use the waffle maker one morning to have Belgian waffles. The real syrup up there is delicious! I would definitely stay in the tree cabin if I take a trip to Vermont again.

This was fantastic. Perfect for a romantic getaway. It was a great launching point for hikes in the white mountains, and the hot tub and grill was a pleasure to come back to. Andrew and Marilou were gracious hosts and have clearly put a lot of care into this abode.

 

Our stay in the tree cabin was wonderfully relaxing. The cabin is small, but well appointed, the bed was very comfortable, and the hot tub was perfect. Andrew was charming and helpful.

 

In one word this place was terrific. We were welcomed by Andrew, stored our bicycles in his storage shed and given a tour of the accommodations. We couldn’t believe this place. A house in the trees, with a wood hot tub on the deck and a fire pit a few feet away. Andrew’s superb carpentry skills were obvious throughout. The house was totally private and well equipped. We used it as a place to relax and a jumping off point for a day hike in the White Mountains (about an hour away). Sorry we didn’t get a chance to meet Marilou, however, that is one of many reasons to return.

 

Our stay in thee tree house was absolutely amazing, and now we are back in Europe, it was one of the highlights of our trip! Beautiful location, amazing attention to detail both in and outside of the cabin. Better than a hotel! Marilou and Andrew were exceptionally pleasant and welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make our stay wonderful, and it really was!!! The treehouse is a perfect romantic retreat with everything done with such care and detail! The hot tub was an absolute treat and we enjoyed every minute!!! We would love to return and would recommend this stay to anyone, if only the journey from Europe was shorter!!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!!!!!

 

We loved our stay at this amazing cabin! Andrew and Marilou were outstanding hosts and the cabin couldn’t have been more perfect for us! It is a fantastic little place to unplug from stress and just relax.

 

 

My wife and I loved this place. It kinda felt like living up in an engineering feat in the trees. Very responsible hosts who have a super cute dog.

 

We had a wonderful time in Andrew and Marylou’s place. It really is as amazing as it looks on the pictures. It’s small, but very well equipped for two people to stay. You can cook simple meals inside using the hot plate provided, but weather permitting there is a fantastic gas BBQ on the deck. The place is spotless, utterly cute and very cozy. When fierce thunderstorms battered the trees around us, we did not feel a thing inside. We spent our days tiring ourselves out hiking in the White Mountains, and our evenings relaxing in the hot tub. I could have spent the night in it, it’s simply wonderful… And of course there are Andrew and Marylou who are just wonderful people, very kind and very generous. Everything went very smoothly and I would recommend the place to anybody.

 

Andrew and Marilou were fabulous hosts. They were friendly and kept in contact leading up to my arrival and during my stay. They were even kind enough to invite me into their home to hang out and chat for a while. I’m sorry to say that I didn’t join them but if I had had more time I would have loved to. Their cabin was immaculately clean and just as pictured. The hot tub was a real treat. It was so nice I was late leaving town because I had to squeeze in one last soak before departing. I even lucked out and found half and half in the fridge for my morning coffee! This is the perfect place to unwind. Its perfectly located too! I visited Willoughby Lake VT (a beautiful spot), drove the Kancamagus Highway NH and found MANY beautiful hiking trails in VT as well as the White Mountains NH all within an hours drive of the cabin. I got to wake up to birds and go to sleep in silence. Coming from NYC that’s no small perk. This was an overall great experience. If I’m ever in VT again I would love to visit with Andrew and Marilou a second time. I highly recommend the Vermont Tree Cabin!
