What an awesome place! I cannot say enough great things about the tree cabin. Andrew and Marilou are welcoming hosts, and they have created a magical place. Sitting on that beautiful deck up in the trees, dining or having coffee, is such a relaxing experience. The hot tub is rejuvenating, and there is even a great barbecue for grilling. The cabin itself is immaculate, and very thoughtfully built in terms of storage, cooking, etc., and it has everything you need to be comfortable and happy — including an awesome bed. Thank you, Andrew and Marilou, for sharing your incredible cabin.

Very unique cabin built into and around oak trees. Cute and comfortable inside with an amazing deck outside. Relaxing in the hot tube and barbecuing local meat on the grill was a definite highlight. Marilou and Andrew made us feel like old friends visiting with their friendly and gracious attentiveness to our comfort. I highly recommended a visit.

marilou and andrew have this great little cabin that i want everyone to experience. josh and i needed absolutely nothing while we were there (they provided coffee, make-your-own belgian waffles, and a generous amount of local maple syrup — we weren’t shy with this). the space is nice and quiet without being too far away from multiple natural food stores, standard grocery stores, and downtown st. johnsbury (theaters, shops, etc.). we were only there for a day and a half but spent our time hiking through the property behind the cabin, soaking in the hot tub after the sun went down (do it!), taking a scenic drive over to the cabot creamery visitor center (tours are $2 — a steal), and playing board games (it rained most of the time). they also have a tv with an awesome selection of dvd’s and netflix access. the bathroom is brand-new and super clean. we immediately felt comfortable. the space is small and cozy but well laid out. it’s also pretty easy to find from 93. thanks again for a great stay! -daisy+josh

This little get a way was just what we needed!! Andrew and Marilou were great hosts. Andrew showed us around and explained all the cabin had to offer (even the outdoor features in the rain, what a guy!). This was my first experience with Airbnb, and I want thank the hosts for explaining the process and answering any questions I had. The cabin is very well built (by Andrew!) and clean. We loved the waffle maker and tub the most!! Only thing I wish to change was the length of our stay. Two days just wasn’t long enough. Next time we will spend more time in this little cozy cabin. This place is awesome!! -John & Nicole

Our stay in the tree Cabin was very pleasant. It is clean and got all what is needed. Marilou and Andrew were very welcoming and gave us all the info needed. BEing on the hot tub at night facing the fire is priceless. I would definetly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful time in the cabin. Andrew and Marilou were very sweet people. They met us and welcomed us with open arms then respectfully gave us the space to enjoy their cabin on our own. Yes, the waffle maker and hot tub rule, but this quaint cabin is simply perfect for writing, reading, drawing, thinking or playing guitar. Vermont is a place of uncharted beauty. It has incredible food and farms, beer and cheese and is completely different in the winter and summer. I would recommend it to anyone. It’s one of my favorite states.

I can’t think of a better place to go for some relaxation and privacy. Marilou and Andrew are wonderful hosts and have thought of every single possibility in building the tree cabin. Weather wasn’t the greatest when we visited, but still enjoyed each and every moment being there. We will visit again.

Everything about our stay in the tree cabin was perfect (except a change in our own schedule which turned a 3-night stay into a 2-night stay). We would have loved to stay longer! The cabin is even better than it looks in the pictures. We were so impressed with the care that went into creating the cabin and the little touches that made it special. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the cabin was spotless, the morning waffles and coffee were just right and the hot tub put it all over the top. I highly recommend the tree cabin as a base for exploring VT’s NE Kingdom in any season. Andrew is an excellent and friendly host and is happy to make suggestions for places to go and things to do, but we wish we had had another day simply to sit outside, read and enjoy the fresh air. If you’re seeking a romantic or solo get-away, you will not be disappointed.
