Tremendous little hide-out in the woods. Marilou and Andrew were gracious hosts. They showed us around the cabin. We ended up cooking two meals there; lounged in the hot tub (highly recommended) and even took a great hike behind the house for an hour or so in the (website hidden). Johnsbury is a cute little historical town nearby. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to do a little getaway out in the woods.

Our stay with Marilou and Andrew marked the favorite two days of our life together (and we had just gotten married)! Marilou and Andrew are the kindest, most considerate hosts, and their beautifully appointed cedar cabin with all modern amenities offered the most serene and happy place for us to enjoy the beautiful Vermont spring! Andrew has built a gem of an abode with all you could possibly need, and we thoroughly loved the wafflemaker and grill—we normally don’t get to enjoy the latter in our city apartment! Andrew and Marilou also helped us with directions, recommendations for dining and sightseeing, and we are just floored by their awesomeness. P.S. The Kozak’s dog Wally (like his owners) is the nicest we’ve ever met! Thank you Marilou and Andrew! We love you guys, and will be recommending you to all of our friends!

Our weekend at the Tree Cabin was so restful and rejuvenating. Marilou and Andrew greeted us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. And we did–the cabin is well equipped and tastefully decorated. The cedar hot tub was the icing on the cake! Will definitely be returning to experience the Tree Cabin during the Fall/Winter seasons!

The tree cabin is amazing and exceeded our wildest expectations! The space itself is super cozy and makes extreme good use of space, and it should be noted that the kitchen is extremely functional and thoughtfully well-stocked! You can shop at the nearby grocery store, panfry some brussels sprouts on the convection burner, and in the morning fry up some bacon and eggs and make a delicious waffle in the waffle maker! (p.s. did you know that you can put cake mix in a waffle maker?) The grounds are so beautiful as well. It feels magical to be so surrounded by trees. And let’s not forget the hottub steps away from the door. For nearby sights we recommend driving 40 min to kettle pond and taking a hike around the pond. Even with all of these amazing things, the most wonderful thing is probably the hosts, Marilou and Andrew who are so lovely and thoughtful and hospitable.

This was my first AirBnB experience I can’t say enough about this little Cabin. The cabin is set privately behind Andrew’s home with 2 acres of woods set behind the Cabin. We went for a little hike back there when we first got there and it was great The cabin comes completely stocked with everything you need for a little get-a-way from pots and pans, towels, linen, waffle-mix/syrup as well as a grill and a little burner should you need to cook inside. The hot tub is as amazing as the pictures show. We also took a short drive north and climbed Mt. Pisgah and hung out at lake Willoughby one day which I recommend. The views were great. There is also a little restaurant in town that we had lunch at called Baliwicks. It was nothing incredibly special but that food was good and the people were nice. I actually had a pretty long conversation with a local there–the town has a real traditional New England feel to it. Andew and Marilou are great people who are there if you need them but give you complete privacy on your stay. I can’t wait to go back in the fall.

Can’t say enough good things about the Vermont Tree Cabin and Andrew and Marilou. We had a perfect 5 day stay and couldn’t have asked for anything more. The cabin was sparkling clean when we got there, and Andrew was attentive to every need. We went hiking nearby mountains almost every day and came back to a great smelling jacuzzi in a beautiful woods and then cooked on the grill and relaxed on the comfortable bed. Recommended highly, can’t wait to come back!
