We stayed for two nights in Marilou & Andrew’s tree cabin – it was great! The (outdoor, handmade!, cedar) hot tub was running nice and hot for us when we got back from xc skiing at the nearby Kingdom Trails. We made great use of the grill and did some winter BBQ’ing on the porch, which we then ate in front of the campfire. A beautiful little cabin, tucked privately away into the woods, with some great photography decorating the walls. I’d love to go back.

This was a lovely place to stay, far away from the hussle and bussle of our daily lives in Providence. It was cozy, clean, well equipped, and that hot tub is KILLA!!!! Andrew and Mary Lou are lovely people and we will definitely return.

Andrew was a wonderful host! My wife and can still smell the amazingly aromatic white cedar hot tub. Gentlemen- my wife liked it so much, that she managed to climb to the the cabin after breaking her ankle on the ski slopes! You will surely get some brownie points for making the reservation with Andrew and Marilou! The cabin is warm, cozy and REALLY CLEAN! It was so nice to go “camping” and be able to use a modern shower and restroom. Make sure you bring some good hiking boots, there is a short and hilly trail that leads to the stairs up to the cabin. You will be glad you brought proper footwear. Also, totally worth toting a pair of house slippers up so you can leave your muddy boots at the door. We also really enjoyed (email hidden). J Coop and cooking our fresh findings on the grill. Everything just tastes better! You will need to be creative with your cooking, but its really fun if you are game for it. Enjoy your stay. We did, and we will be back!

What a wonderful way to escape from the city for a weekend! This cabin has everything you need and even more – warm and cozy (it was 5 degrees outside!), comfortable bed, amazing hot tub, grill, waffles, and more. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend 2 nights and can’t wait to come back. Thank you Andrew and Marilou for being such hospitable hosts and for accommodating to all our needs. We’ll be back soon! – Alice + Mike

We had a wonderful stay in the cabin this past weekend! It was very relaxing and restful. Many amenities were provided, and we were able to enjoy the cabin as if it were home! We loved the waffle mix and coffee, and especially the hot tub. Andrew even made us a fire after our long day of skiing. It was a wonderful stay and we will be sure to go back again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Andrew welcomed us, showed us the cabin and told us everything we needed to know. The cabin was cozy and warm even with extremely low temperatures. The first night, we used the outdoor BBQ and took a night bath in the hot tub. It was 4°F outside and 104°F in the hot tub: we had a blast! Then on Saturday morning we made waffles (everything was provided) and went snowmobiling at northern extreme snowmobiling (Bretton Woods, NH). At night we went to the restaurant Bailiwick’s on Mill (quite pricey and not that good, I would actually recommend to use the BBQ instead!) and enjoyed the hot tub again. Overall, an amazing experience – we’d glad to return during the summer or next winter!

Andrew & Marilou’s Tree cabin was an amazing little getaway. Had more than enough amenities for our little 4 day stay. Waffle iron and coffee maker were perfect for breakfast. Cabin stayed nice and warm and so did the shower. Hot tub was absolutely amazing. Felt really great to go out and sit in it while drinking our morning coffee or having a glass of wine at night. Andrew is mighty handy as he made it himself by hand. We were out and about most days and evenings so we didn’t even use the gas grill or foreman but it was nice to know it was there had we needed. The town of St. Johnsbury is small but has everything you would need. A few good restaurants and cafes. some cool little arts & crafts galleries. We only wish it had snowed before the day we left so we could’ve taken advantage of the sledding trail they have set up. Our stay was perfect and we thank you guys very much for letting us stay. Nicole and I would love to come up and visit you again soon!!! Mario & Nicole

Booked this place to get away from the craziness of the city for a weekend and was not in any way let down. The cabin is easy to get to, cozy, really well furnished, and the hot tub is wonderful, especially on those cold winter days. Unfortunately I didn’t get to meet Marilou, but Andrew was a great host and appears to work quite hard in the interest of keeping his cabin in great condition for guests. Already thinking about coming back!

This was my first airbnb experience, and I must say I loved it. The cabin requires a steep climb to get to but well worth it. The owners have thought of everything. From the breath taking view in the outdoor hot tub looking out amongst the tree tops, really feeling like your in a tree; to having all the ammentiies of a home. By far I would easily pay the price to stay here than at a local inn. Andrew was an amazing host, I saw him out at 8am in the morning shoveling the driveway to our car when it only snowed just 2 inches. You will not have any regrets with staying here. The only con was that we came on a rainy weekend, and the path up the cabin was extremely slippery and we both fell a few times.
