Andrew and Marilou were really great hosts. We arrived just after some fairly heavy snow and Andrew had put a lot of work into shoveling and salting the stairway leading up to the cabin. The Cabin itself is really an awesome escape. Andrew took the time to show us how to use the hottub, grill, heat, etc. The Cabin is perfectly equipped, with thoughtful touches, like hooks to hang clothes, a waffle maker, and a few food items. The hottub was unbelievable on a cold night, warm and relaxing! We really enjoyed our brief conversation with Andrew and Marilou and their beagle, Wally. Andrew even had a few sleds and encouraged us to enjoy them, which we did.

We stayed at the tree cabin for two nights during the week of Christmas. Andrew and Marilou were very warm and welcoming. The cabin was wonderful for the two of us, and we really appreciated the included amenities (eggs and waffle mix, hot tub, and sleds, just to name a few). Unfortunately, we were unable to get into town during our stay due to snow, but this was a great place to be snowbound.

Our stay in the tree cabin was a lovely escape from city life. We were able to use the hot tub to relax and the grill for cooking. Even with some snow and howling wind one evening, the cabin remained cozy and warm. We look forward to returning on our next Vermont getaway.

My girlfriend and I spent two great days in Marilou and Andrew’s cabin. She was visiting me from Europe for just one week, and we wanted to have a small trip together. This place proved to be an amazing choice. The cabin was cozy, warm, and endearing, in a charming position with a view and surrounded by the wood. Andrew was very friendly, and we had a lot of fun cooking waffles for breakfast with the waffle machine and the ingredients offered by the Kozaks. But the most extraordinary thing was to use the hot tub outside, just sitting in the warm water hearing the wind in the trees and looking at the stars. What a beautiful experience!

The tree cabin is a perfect little getaway, Andrew & Marilou keep the place in excellent condition and the sunset view in the evening is a treat; especially when enjoyed from the warmth of the hot tub on a crisp night. Highly recommended.

This spot is great. Andrew & Marilou were welcoming and Andrew helped us feel prepared and safe for the oncoming Hurricane Sandy. Needless to say the cabin held up against the rain and wind no problem at all. The hot tub is really nice with the smell of the cedar wood. Andrew also made sure the grill was stocked with enough propane since we cooked a handful of meals on the grill. All in all a great place to stay and my girlfriend & I plan on going back sometime.

We had a wonderful time in Andrew and Marilou’s cute little cabin. It was the perfect place to get some rest, soak in the hot tub, and slow down. Andrew and Marilou were friendly and attentive, and the surrounding area is beautiful!
