tanya, MONTPELIER, VT – September 2012
We had the most fabulous time at the cozy cabin! Despite the rain and thunderstorms – our time was memorable! Andrew was extremely kind and hospitable! You would be crazy to not come and stay! I can’t wait to return! Everything you could possibly want in a Vermont Tree Cabin from the hand crafted hot tub and beautiful scenery to the waffles and coffee in bed! Thank you for allowing us into your amazing place!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Tree Cabin. It is a cozy and adorable spot. The highlights were the hot tub, having a camp fire in the fire pit and candle-lit dinners on the beautiful deck. Andrew and Marilou even supplied the wood for the fire! I highly recommend a visit to this wonderful cabin in Vermont.

My husband and I have stayed in a number of AirBNB locations, but this one takes the cake! I was immediately in love with this place – what a gem! Andrew and Marilou have created something so special with their beautiful, fully-equipped, zen-like, romantic tree cabin. It was most certainly the highlight of our week-long trip and we could not recommend it more highly. Andrew and Marilou themselves are so welcoming and kind. They were a pleasure to meet and to speak with. We wish we could have stayed more than one night, as it was truly an amazing place. I continue to rave about the experience… 🙂 Thanks again!!

This place is perfect! When I started thinking about small home living I would have never imagined a better place. It is a healthy hike up a hill, very private minus the occasional squirrel visitors. The set up is studio-like with all of your basic amenities you need to survive plus some extra features (hot tub, grill and fire pit). I am still impressed knowing that Andrew built all of this himself including the hot tub and the heating/filtration system attached to the hot tub. At night it is a beautiful, serene wonderland. Marilou and Andrew have hung up lanterns around the cabin for warm night lighting. If you decide to adventure the local area at night you can rest assured your path to the cabin will be lit upon your arrival home though there are flashlights in the cabin just in case! I love the location which is quiet and far enough from civilization yet still a reasonable drive to St. Johnsbury, a hop and a skip away from the highway entrance, just a short distance from New Hampshire’s White Mountain region and very close to a reservoir where you can enjoy water sports. In other words there is lots to do and see though staying in the cabin is a relaxing way to spend your days as well. Marilou and Andrew are very loving, welcoming hosts. When we arrived we chatted for a little while and met their adorable new beagle! They showed us around briefly and gave us a quick tour of the place and a how-to run down which was much appreciated! …and yes the reviews are true–there is a mini fridge they stock with eggs and real Vermont maple syrup (can you say delicious?), Belgain waffle mix can be found on the shelf and they have a legitimate waffle iron. In other words, breakfast was amazing! I highly recommend this place! I hope you enjoy your stay there as much as I did!

My husband and I wanted to take a quick “mini”moon immediately after our wedding and chose Marilou & Andrew’s tree house. It is the ultimate romantic escape – fire pit, cedar hot tub, adorable little room with all the necessities (waffle mix, eggs, coffee AND half n half!). We had the perfect escape after the perfect wedding. We had so much fun we didn’t want to leave! Thanks guys! We can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The private retreat was comfortable and accommodating. The wood fired hot tub was a real treat and Andrew kept the water hot for us each day. Add in some fresh coffee and a Belgian waffle and you have yourself a relaxing stay.

We stayed at the tree cabin for 2 nights, and it was amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer! I appreciated that everything was so thoughtful. There was everything we could possibly need – breakfast supplies, cooking supplies, a beautiful deck with a hot tub (!), and great scenery. Everything was perfect and I thank you, Andrew and Marilou for being such gracious hosts. We would return in a heartbeat! The perfect retreat…

My family of two adults and one child stayed at the cabin for 3 nights. It was a lovely relaxing stay for all of us. It is like staying in a lovely forest but with all of the amenities.
