Everything you’re reading below about how wonderful this place is is absolutely true. It was so wonderful to have our own private space. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and kitchen were clean and modern, and the outside grill and hot tub were wonderful treats!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights in Marilou and Andrew’s tree cabin. The retreat they have built is unique and impressive. We loved spending time on the deck, grilling up our dinner on the bbq and relaxing in the hot tub. Breakfast was a special treat with Marilou and Andrew generously providing all the ingredients for waffles, including Grade A Vermont maple syrup. They were very hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed, especially local knowledge of the area. HIghlights included a pictuesque trailride with Debbie of D-N-D horse stables in East Burke, swimming in nearby Crystal Lake, and a day trip to Burlington, with dinner on the way home at The Kitchen Table in Richmond. We would highly recommend staying at Marilou and Andrew’s property – hopefully we’ll make it back one day.

WONDERFUL stay at the tree house! So relaxing and the hot tub just made our day after a long drive from NYC. Nice and quiet and dark for sleeping, we LOVED this place and hope Marilou and Andrew let us come back again!

We spent 4 nights in the Tree Cabin and enjoyed it! The big deck with hot tub and grill was our favorite part. The hot tub is a handmade cedar tub and was so wonderful after a long day of hiking in the White Mountains! Everything was very clean and the soaps, waffle mix, and maps were all thoughtful touches. It was so nice to be able to do most of our own cooking with the outdoor grill. Vermont is beautiful and this cabin is in the perfect location to explore both the White Mountains (NH) and Montpelier (about an hour from each). The only improvement we would suggest would be a more supportive mattress. The mattress was very soft and sloped a bit to the middle. Other people found it to be comfortable, but it wasn’t for us.

The cabin is terrific. The inside is very nice and new with a super-comfy double bed. Waffles were delicious. There was a little TV with DVDs left out for us. Also bug spray and a flashlight. Andrew and Marilou thoughtfully provided the basics. The location is nice- off in the woods but not far from the little city of St. Johnsbury. Also an easy drive to the White Mountains in New Hampshire. I definitely want to return!

A Jewel of a Tree Cabin. Can’t say enough of how terrific our 5 nights were and looking forward to going back. There is so much to do around the area. Andrew and Marilou very welcoming and all the special touches they include in this rental are much appreciated. Yours to discover! We were also blessed with great weather ! One more thing…You must eat at Tim’s diner if you love fish or seafood! They also serve a 6am breakfast I hear is excellent too.

Our stay at Marilou & Andrew’s cabin was simply perfect. After a day in the White Mountains, we enjoyed the calm and the warmth of this gentle cabin in the oak trees. Great place to stay. I wish we will have the opportunity to go back someday in winter! René

The cabin felt almost like it was our own summer home. It is a very quiet and relaxing place after a long day of hiking in the White Mountains. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. I definitely would recommend it.

We loved this cozy cabin!! It had everything we could have needed. There were so many thoughtful little touches–breakfast things, toiletries, maps, area restaurant menus, etc. The place is small but the space is so well thought out that we never felt crowded or uncomfortable in any way. The scenery, peace, hot tub and wrap-around deck were awesome! As far as the hosts go, Marilou and Andrew are great! They were very warm, welcoming, friendly and accomodating. Both Andrew and Marilou asked us numerous times if there was anything else we needed. (There wasn’t. They had already thought of everything). If we’re fortunate enough to make it back to Vermont, we’d love to stay here again.

Our stay at the tree cabin was great! It was my first air bnb experience and Andrew was patient and answered any questions that I had. We stayed four nights and the cabin exceeded my expectations in terms of amenities. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, knives, etc and we were able to easily cook meals on the gas grill. The cabin is private, beautiful, and Andrew and Marilou are gracious and professional hosts.
