By far one of the best Air BnBs we’ve stayed at (and we stay often). We needed a place near family in New Hampshire, and just happened to stumble on this amazing find. The tree house is SOOOOOO well thought out. From construction, to amenities, Andrew and Marilou thought of everything. You’re in the woods – don’t worry, they’ve provided bug spray and citronella candles. You forgot to bring breakfast – don’t worry, they’ve provided all the ingredients for fresh belgian waffles! You want a relaxing night – good thing they have a beautiful wooden hot tub, oh and Netflix installed on the tv. Incredible! Andrew was home when we got in, and casually walked us around the cabin. We’ve had some pretty uptight, particular Air BnB hosts, so were pleasantly surprised by how relaxed and accommodating Andrew was. After checking in, we were left to complete privacy. And tucked into the woods, the cabin does offer the perfect amount of privacy. Based on our stay, I would assume Andrew and Marilou could manage a 50 room hotel with the same ease they manage a one bed cabin. I was very impressed with their property and hospitality. Hope to sneak in another stay before they move on to their next project – multiple tree houses up north.

Wonderful stay. Marilou met me upon my arrival and gave me a brief showing of the space and how things worked. The space was exactly as pictured. One of the items that stood out was there responsiveness before my arrival. Any time I emailed or sent them a text they responded very promptly.

The Vermont Tree Cabin exceeded my expectations. It is comfortable, well-designed and stocked with all the essentials. Andrew greeted us when we arrived and chatted for a bit. It was clear that a lot of love and thought was put into everything. My boyfriend and I were able to cook all of our meals outside, and as all the other reviews stated, the waffles were amazing! There was coffee, tea, sugar, oil, S&P and some spices. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, dishes and cutlery you could need. The bathroom includes plenty of soft towels, soap, shampoo and other helpful toiletries like floss and bug spray. The cabin does not have AC, but it doesn’t really need it. Our first night it was in the high 80s/ low 90s. With the windows and door open and the fan on, it was comfortable. Would love to go back!

Top B&B, the cabin is cozy, charming and very clean. It is a relaxing place in the middle of the nature. I recommand this cabin and would definitely go back there. We met Andrew, who is very friendly and helpful. Thank you for this nice stay!

We have been lucky enough to travel around the country and stay at lots of small, private accommodations. This was among the best. Clean, beautiful, and the deck/soaking tub were absolutely terrific. Also, speedy wi-fi and a great shower. Andrew was fantastic and accommodating … he was willing to work with us when our flights were delayed, and took care of little things without complaint or delay — the smoke detector in the unit went wonky our first night, but Andrew had a new one in place by mid-afternoon. If all AirBnB places were as good as this one, the world would be a better place! Looking forward to Andrew’s new treehouse project, which I bet will be even better.

We loved our time at the Vermont Tree Cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and they supplied many simple amenities that we didn’t even know we’d miss if they weren’t there. We loved the hot tub, being surrounded by nature, and we loved the waffles!

My wife and I had a glorious honeymoon here. Andrew and Marilou are wonderful hosts and we greatly enjoyed the space, a perfect cozy retreat. The waffle mixes were a real treat as was the hot tub. Thank you!!

Had a really great time in Andrew and Marilou’s little cabin. The place was extremely clean! Waffles were fantastic and Andrew even brought us up some more cooking supplies when we ran out. The bar has been set high!

I surprised my wife with a getaway to this gem in Vermont for our 2nd anniversary…and I think even I was a little surprised! As people have said, the pictures don’t truly do this place justice. Everything from the trail walk up to the cabin to the cabin interior to the deck design was so well thought out that it grants you a fantastic getaway experience. I think Andrew and Marilou have certainly found their niche as bnb hosts! I HIGHLY recommend the delicious, provided waffle breakfast, hiking Mt. Pisgah, dinner at Baliwicks in town, and hot tubbing to relax the muscles. This was my first airbnb experience, and it certainly set the standard high!

The entire experience was exceptional, beyond our expectations. We are both Native American and connecting with our natural environment is important to us. We came up from New London CT for a three day getaway. The cabin, although small, 16 x 12, it is well designed. The construction is well above average and thoughtful. e.g. the toilet is the best wall hanging toilet you can get. My wife is a construction project manager and she was impressed. Materials used were high quality everywhere. Even the cot is the best you can buy. Andrew is good at this. No detail was missed. The environment is similarly great. The cabin is on a steep mountain/hill facing west in a lightly populated area. The whole Northeast Kingdom of VT is lightly populated. Yet it is only a couple of miles from downtown St. Johnsbury with numerous good restaurants, and nice shops you don’t see everywhere. Everyone seems conscious of healthy nutrition as well from the cabin itself, to the food coop, and restaurants. We will be back. This is an exquisite place to connect with nature on all levels. We never met Marilou, but Andrew met us and got us established in the cabin. He is very nice, easy to talk with, and helpful. He is building a tree house community on 40 acres he bought. I can’t wait until he opens them. We are very excited to have found this place.

It was fantastic. Such a great getaway, the hosts are so gracious, and the tree cabin is so cozy. It had everything we could have wanted! We would come back in a heartbeat.
