My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at this unique and absolutely beautiful cabin. Everything was perfect. Andrew and Marilou are a lovely couple, and were great hosts, and answered any questions that we had! We had a very pleasant chat with them. They even left us everything we needed to make waffles, which were amazing!! So delicious!! The cabin was clean, well equipped, had everything we needed, and the hot tub was amazing!! The whole stay was a great experience, we absolutely loved it, and would love to come back again!!!

Andrew and Marilou were great hosts and spent time showing us around even though they had guests for thanksgiving dinner. The cabin was extremely cute and cozy. It was a perfect place to spend some time away from the city. The hot tub was perfect and oh-so-relaxing even though the temperature outside touched 3F! Andrew and Marilou were gracious enough to keep all necessary ingredients and equipment to prepare waffles. The appliances in the kitchen and bathroom are all state-of-the-art. For those of us who cannot live without internet connectivity, there is WiFi available as well, though I would highly recommend unplugging and unwinding while you’re here 🙂 We found a lot of good places to eat around the little town too. The only unfortunate part was that we had to leave so soon. All in all, a perfect thanksgiving holiday!

This place is super beautiful as you can see from the pics, and Andrew and Marilou are friendly, attentive, professional hosts. Andrew built the place plus lots of other houses so you are in good hands. We grilled our dinner on the gas grill, hung out in the hot tub, and listened to coyotes at night. The kitchen had everything we needed, everything was clean and beautiful. We were only there one night so we didn’t get to explore at all, but the tree cabin is definitely a keeper.

The tree cabin was great, could not believe how nice everything was. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to visit again. It was great meeting Andrew and Marilou they made sure everything was perfect. Thanks, Nancy & Jim

What a place!! So much attention to the finest detail. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect weekend in the trees. Aside from the killer view, awesome soak tub and amazing amenities in this little gem (baby soft linens, beautiful shower, fridge stocked to make the most amazing waffles, etc.) one of the best thought out features was the guest book that was adorned with wonderful suggestions and artwork to capture this amazing place! Andrew gave us so many helpful hints to make our weekend spectacular, and they really are such great hosts, and what’s more it was made even more special learning that it was built by Andrew himself! We would gladly stay here (or anywhere they may host around the world!) again in a heartbeat!!!!! Thanks for sharing your amazing, cozy, and restful retreat… Sivan, Steve and Analiese

The house was clean, nice and fully functional. We had an amazing evening by the fire and hot tub. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Thank you!

Whatever you’re hesitant of (the drive, the location…), just book this immediately. Andrew and Marilou’s Tree Cabin is perfection. My boyfriend and I drove up from Boston through the gorgeous rolling hills of Vermont for a weekend away—and stayed 1 night at the Tree Cabin. (We wished we stayed more!) Andrew and his superbly friendly beagle Wally greeted us, showed us around, and took us up to the cabin. Sitting on the top of a private hill, Andrew’s cabin is a dream—filled with hand-crafted touches everywhere, there’s nothing left out or not thought of. The hot tub was a lovely addition for a cold night in the late fall, and we had a fun time being in the complete silence of the woods. It was so wonderful to find a superbly clean, cozy, and thoughtful spot to stay in during my first trip to Vermont. And the WAFFLES! Andrew, you’ve got a great thing going with those homemade waffles. (I immediately ran home and ordered a waffle maker…) Something cute we found on the way there: Littleton, NH—neighboring town 20 minutes away through rolling hills, had quite the eclectic antique shops! We loved Just L, and bought some great items—cool turn-of-the century finds as well. And if you’re driving up from Boston: We had purchased sandwiches at King Arthur that AM and needed to eat somewhere… we stumbled upon Fairlee Town Beach—right off 91N, and had a lovely lake-side meal before arriving in Waterbury. Thank you Andrew and Marilou!

We had a fantastic time at the Tree Cabin. Everything was perfect, with the hot tub, fire pit and BBQ. The cabin is small but very well designed and organized and there was plenty of space for my husband, our 3 months old daughter and I. The cabin was perfectly clean, the mini kitchen well equipped and it was fun to make waffles in the morning. Andrew was very nice and took time to show us everything when we arrived. This was one of our top Airbnb experience and we hope to go again.

My husband and I could not have loved Vermont and this tiny cabin any more. Andrew and Marilou (and Mr. Wally of the floppy ears) were the penultimate hosts. Not a thing was lacking save the street noise of our native Atlanta. If you are looking for a simple and peaceful escape, this is the place!!!
